OUR PROGRAM
Hungry Caterpillars Early Education Center is a Spanish immersion preschool that employs a multifaceted approach to teaching, consisting of three different schools of thought.

First and foremost, we are a play-based program, with a major emphasis on developing the child's social and emotional skills through interactions with peers during play and through the modeling that adults offer. Second, we implement the practices of Reggio Emilia teachings with attention to the environment and natural materials at play to enhance the development of the child's creativity. Third, our inclusion of a Montessori approach starts preparing the children for elementary school, wherein the activities are more independent and academically based. With the collaboration of the three teaching styles, we aim to create an environment where children can blossom and reach their full potential.

Hungry Caterpillars is designed for working families and offers a full-day, year-round program. We understand that the three months most programs take off is valuable and essential time during which a child could otherwise be utilizing to further develop and learn, while simultaneously sparing parents the burden of having to figure out what to do during that time period.
